SignalGate Expands: Hegseth Had Over A Dozen Signal Chats For Official Business

Signalgate just keeps growing and growing.

By Red Painter — May 6, 2025

Pete Hegseth's use of Signal to discuss classified Department of Defense information has reached levels that even I did not expect. After multiple chats were disclosed, including one with his lawyer, wife and brother, where classified war plans were discussed, we found out that he installed a secret wifi in his office to allow him to use Signal on his computer.

Now we are learning that he used Signal way more than previously reported - over a dozen chats that we know about so far. People close to him from the Pentagon say that he "told aides on the encrypted app to inform foreign governments about an unfolding military operation" and "also used the nongovernmental message service to discuss media appearances, foreign travel, his schedule, and other unclassified but sensitive information."

Aides say he set up the chats himself, sending messages from the unsecured line in his Pentagon office and from his personal phone. In new information, it has been discovered that his military aide, Ricky Buria, was given access to Hegseth's phone and was posting information about the Houthi attach in March in the chat group that included Hegseth's wife, brother, and private lawyer.

GOP Rep: Dems Are 'Importing' Immigrants To Win Elections

Rep Toxic Tom Tiffany says that Democrats are protective of immigrants because they imported them to be voters. Yes, he really.said that.

By Chris capper Liebenthal — May 5, 2025

Rep. Toxic Tom Tiffany did an interview with Andrew Wilkow, and they got to talking about immigration and the falsely arrested Judge Hannah Dugan, when Tiffany demonstrated beyond a doubt that he is no longer on speaking terms with reality:

Why is it always the violent criminals that they stand up for? I mean President Trump is trying to make sure we don't have another Laken Riley, we don't have another Jocelyn Nungaray, that no longer is every state a border state as we saw over the previous four years.

But remember how important this is to the left and you can see it where they'll even break the law in this case of this Milwaukee judge, and by the way we have another judge, in my district, in Wisconsin, that's talking about doing the same thing. Why are they doing it? Because they imported all these voters in order to win future elections. This is at the very heart of their strategy, Andrew, for them to make sure that they hold power in the future.

Trump uttered 'most important words ever spoken' by a president: conservative ex-judge

By Sarah K. Burris
Published May 5, 2025 6:37 PM ET

Conservative former Judge Michael Luttig pointed to the recent interview President Donald Trump did and called it possibly the "most important" statement made by a U.S. president.

The comment was part of Trump's interview with NBC News' Kristen Welker that aired Sunday. The questions involved the deported migrants sent to a prison in El Salvador and whether they received the due process required under the Fifth Amendment of the Constitution.

Trump said he didn't know. She then asked Trump if he believed he must uphold the Constitution, and again, he repeated that he was unsure.

Trump's latest antics are yet another sign he's 'adopting dictator kitsch': analysis

By Krystina Alarcon Carroll
Published May 5, 2025 6:30 PM ET

Americans are experiencing what it’s like to have a president who believes he can act without limits and appears unafraid of facing any consequences, according to a new analysis from CNN.

“In a blitz of recent policy moves, legal challenges, comments and interviews, [President] Donald Trump is showing that he’s shedding the last limitations of custom and the public’s long understanding of how a president should behave,” author Stephen Collinson wrote Monday.

One poor taste move — Trump's AI-generated image of himself as pope.

'Critical': Hegseth orders massive purge of generals and admirals

By Matthew Chapman
Published May 5, 2025 5:12 PM ET

Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth is seeking a drastic cut to the number of high-ranking military officials.

According to CNN, a new memo issued by President Donald Trump's Pentagon chief directs the department to cut 20 percent of four-star generals and admirals, and "also directs the Pentagon to cut the number of general officers in the National Guard by 20%, and to cut the total number of general and flag officers across the military by 10%. There are currently about 900 general and flag officers — those with the rank of one star or higher — across the military."

Hegseth is describing the move as a “critical” step to “removing redundant force structure to optimize and streamline leadership by reducing excess general and flag officer positions.”

'Zeroed out': Trump plans to shut down critical crime unit -- and no one knows why

By Matthew Chapman
Published May 5, 2025 10:01AM ET

President Donald Trump's administration is moving to shut down a critical Department of Justice unit fighting organized crime and drug trafficking that dates all the way back to the Reagan administration, Bloomberg News reported — and there doesn't seem to be any clear reason why.

The leaders of this unit, known as the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Forces (OCDETF), received notice that all operations must wind down by September 30, and "An email sent last Monday by a DOJ budget analyst to a counterpart at OCDETF said that the unit’s fiscal year 2026 budget would be 'zeroed out' and the independent office dissolved, according to records obtained by Bloomberg News in response to a Freedom of Information Act request and the people familiar with the matter."

All office leases and other operations will be canceled as well.

Well look at how a fraudster got elected, well look at his attorney general that gave him money illegally.............and the best giving pardons to people that wanted to overthrow a duly elected government and getting a invite to schmooze with him at his home .................the list goes on and on..............

Who is Nancy Grace Roman?

It is with great pleasure that we dedicate this space observatory tasked with increasing our understanding of dark energy, the universe, and our place in it, to Dr. Nancy Grace Roman, the pioneer of modern space-based astronomy.

Known as the "mother of the Hubble Space Telescope," Nancy Grace Roman was born May 16, 1925 in Nashville, Tennessee, and died December 25, 2018.

From a young age, Roman showed an interest in astronomy, and when she was 11 years old she organized a club with her classmates in Reno, Nevada. In this club they learned about constellations and celestial objects from a book.

By high school, Roman realized that she had a passion for astronomy and wanted to pursue it. Her academic prowess was highlighted when she participated in an accelerated program and graduated in three years from Baltimore's Western High School.

These airlines paused or cancelled Canada-U.S. flights in the wake of the trade war

Some of Canada’s major airlines have made changes to their schedules, including pausing some flights between Canada and the United States and increasing domestic flights in the wake of lower demand to fly south, which may be tied to the tariff war between the two countries.

“The airline industry on both sides of the border has seen a very substantial dip in demand, primarily from Canadian travellers,” said Ryan Ewing, founder of the airline blog AirlineGeeks.com, in a video interview with CTVNews.ca on Friday.

He said he believes the decrease in demand is because Canadians are turned off by U.S. President Donald Trump’s rhetoric, such as pushing the idea of making Canada the 51st state, as well as the ongoing tariff battle.
