Definitely ambulance trips for my mom on infrequent, but still disturbing as ?6 - 16 yr old. Really any age especially after having lived through it at younger times.

Interesting - re: your therapists about having the childhood memories come up, or maybe reflected in current trauma - along with all the old helplessness feelings. Countering with adult "not helpless" thoughts.

So sorry you had such difficulties with the covid shots. I don't think I was afraid, definitely way more afraid of getting the illness!

It was the surrealism of the whole thing. In NYC I went to a big Amory next to a big hospital complex. This whole system set up for people to ??sign in, then go to the next area and sit. Then a group at a time would be sent down the area where many office type booths were set up and apart from each other for the client/patient, and vaccine administer to sit. Then the place to sit for either 15 or 30 mins afterwards.
