fail to report and the gun is used in a violent crime and there is evidence the gun was not properly secured. Imprisonment should be an option. Further, they cannot own gunz with unannounced searches.

If the gun was sold without a background check through an FFL, big fine and criminal charges.

Almost every gun used in a crime was first purchased legally. It was either stolen, transferred to the criminal often for a fistful of cash without a background check, or the mythical “responsible gun owner” used it in a crime.

We’ve been coddling gun-strokers too long.
