Honestly, all guns should be registered. And if your registered gun shows up as being used in a crime, you get to be just as responsible as whoever used it if you did not report it stolen.

I'm so tired of things like, "Toddler pulls gun from mom's purse, shoots and kills mom" kind of stories that demonstrate all too clearly how recklessly irresponsible too many gun owners are.

Dear lord, it should be at least as hard to get a gun license as it is to register and vote in some states.
