impression of a quiet, happy, rural home. For me, watercolor has always been a really difficult medium, though I have painted some oils. But this is crisp and clean. I can imagine a smell in the house like I remember from my grandparents - of good wholesome cooking. And I can imagine a little porch out back where there are a couple of chairs.
