I lived in a small 4 flr apt building on a block in Brooklyn: mostly with brownstones, or a few short buildings like mine. So the whole center of the block was filled with backyards!

Anyway, to my surprise there were telephone poles just past the backyard (or just inside?), running parallel to the building! I used to see the squirrels run back, and forth on the wires! 🐿 😄
