When I call my insurance company, they'll say something like I need to place you on a brief hold, don't hang up, I will get back to you as soon as I have the information.

That makes me think they really will come back. I don't expect people to answer instantly or have the info at their fingertips, but to immediately put you on hold, blast the piano banging music and make you wait beyond 7 minutes is ridiculous.
