4. Don't know who writes world.info, but that's a subjective list, though it does show why the USA won't join it

It has Germany as a former "pariah state" - well, OK, if you go back to 1945. But then you'd have to ask why Japan and other countries aren't listed too.

But note that China, despite its persecution of Uyghurs, removal of free speech in Hong Kong, belligerence in the South China Sea and so on, is not on the list. This is because its economy is too big for people to start calling it a "pariah". And the same goes, but more so, for the USA.
