11. There are plenty more sports talking heads. Sanchez is done for.

These networks have a very clearly defined pecking order, and Sanchez was pretty low in the order. He was supposed to do color for Colts versus Raiders, which was not a game of national interest, so I'd say he was about the 5th or 6th tier down.

The people below him take a step up. Simple as that.

There is nothing in it for Fox to keep him around.

Those jobs are coveted. Why would Fox want to keep anybody around who didn't value that opportunity any more than this?
