Allowing these cowards to vote for cloture means they can vote against the actual bill, which will pass without them. Then they can shrug and say "we tried."

Well, no, you spineless weasels, you didn't.

All these people need to be primaried. We need to start building a new party of people with actual guts.

We are screwed.
