I thought my anger at this election would fade. It's hotter than ever today.

13. I gave up when I read not one Democrat was

going to protest the certification. At least one did back when Bush Jr was selected. This time, no one speaks for the many, many of us... especially those of us who are veterans... who know the constitution reads in black and white that he shouldn't even have been allowed to run, let alone be certified.

I've been a Democrat my entire life, and I'll die voting Democrat. But let me tell you, I'm sorely disappointed over these past 10-15 years at how little the Democrats have gotten done in the vital areas of shoring up democracy and rights for every American. There are all kinds of excuses, but I'm just really tired of hearing them.

I knew today was certification day. I just kind of blew it off... the same way I'm probably going to blow it all off from this point on, as much as I can, anyway. Eventually, sooner rather than later, my hot button will get pushed and I'll feel the righteous anger and move toward action at that point.
