And just one state, not ten (since there are ten provinces). With a population of 40 million, it would be the largest state in the country. If the House remained at 435 members—or even if it were expanded—this state would command a significant portion of representatives, likely with about 80% being Democrats. Additionally, its electoral votes would heavily favor the Democratic Party.
