An unconditional discharge - no jail time, probation or even a fine.

But the guilty verdict would be signed off on and case closed. So Trump would have to then appeal the verdict to higher courts which could take years to decide. No New York state court is going to overturn it so it would be up to SCOTUS.

I think Trump's only real concern is about the optics of taking the oath of office on the 20th as a convicted felon.
His ego can't handle it.
