I received 3 recorded messages from my county government that manages our roads. I missed the first call. The second call was

around 3 or 4 p.m. to announce a level 1 snow emergency. Don't travel unless necessary.

Third call around 7 p.m. It was to announce a level 2 snow emergency. All roads are closed. You can be arrested if you aren't on your

way to work, the hospital, etc. Suggested calling your employer to see if you should come to work.

I am 71.

This is the first time any county I have lived in actually called my home for alerts.
