Arbitrary? Possibly. Still, this is a life lesson I learned many years ago. And, with very few exceptions, it works. It's quite simple. If you like Rod Stewart, you will get along with other people who like Rod Stewart. If you hate Rod Stewart, you will get along with other people who hate Rod Stewart. Divorces could likely be avoided if this simple fact were more commonly known. Perhaps the world itself would be a happier place, with the pro-Rods and anti-Rods partnering up that much more easily. I can't say such a thing about any other musical artist/group. With that said, here's Maggie May from 1971.
