I saw Bill Gates interviewed on 60 Minutes by Leslie Stahl. This was right after the big tech crash some years ago. She told him a few weeks ago his net worth was 90 billion dollars and now it was about 50 billion dollars. She asked him what was the difference? He said without hesitating, "40 billion dollars."

He also said he and Steve Jobs has a sort of friendly rivalry and their net worth was the only way to keep score. He also said in that same interview that he had met with the Koch brothers and they were actually very nice people.

I lost any respect I may have had for him after hearing those things.
