China has leverage on Musk.

By Chinese law, any company that has businesses in China have to give up any information the Chineese asks of them. If they don, they lose their businesses in China.

Bye-bye Tesla factories. Bye-bye Tesla sales to the Chineese people (which are beginning to dry up anyway as cheaper, better alternatives become available). Bye-bye rare earth minerals and batteries...

He'd sell out the US for far less incentives than thoses.

But... WTAF? Isn't there ANYONE in the Pentagon pushing against this? Shouldn't this be a bridge too far for anyone other than the Joint Chief of Staff Chairman?
