Even if you eliminate the caucuses. He was 50 points behind when he first ran.
If he doesn't have much of a following he wouldn't have won anything this time around. But he has won more than everyone else running against him except Biden.
Bad analogy aside, Given that religious people are a major voting block...yeah I think they do give people a voice.
EDIT: And I would like to point out this is feeling more like you are trying to convince me of something or debate me rather than trying to understand why Sander Supporters act the way they do.
