Unfortunately due to the drug war, research into this sort of thing has been limited, traditionally, although that is changing.

"Cure" cancer? Pretty doubtful- at the very least, Tim Leary and Carl Sagan both died of forms of cancer, so....

still, it may have benefits above and beyond the already considerable ones in terms of anti-nausea/stimulating appetite for chemo patients, pain relief, etc.
