My ex used to blow smoke into the ear of her very old arthritic dog (who had other issues as well) and it was the only thing that would make him eat, as well as helping in other manners. I think it could be very helpful, as it is in humans. Testing would be nice, but I doubt we'll legalize fast enough. Small doses to see how it goes, I guess.

Small doses are a good idea. I had (earlier this year) my roommates dog break into my cabinet and eat two firecrackers. There was enough in there to knock me flat, and he ate them both. He was super chill for about 30 minutes, and then it wasn't good after. I felt terrible for him. Thankfully he was just fine because it's weed, but still. Pets and cannabis are something to be very careful around (which it certainly seems you are doing).
