I advise all of my patients who use (and there are a lot of them here in Washington State) not to smoke it.

The bioavailability of THC in marijuana that is smoked is about 27%. The bioavailability of THC in edibles is about 9% from what I understand. So I'm sure smoking it gives you a better high. A study was published last year that concludes that marijuana smoke is not as bad for you as tobacco smoke. But you're still inhaling the by-products of combustion. i.e. carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, etc.

I hope you'll start using edibles instead.

Either way, enjoy!

I can't believe we spent so many years and so many billions of dollars keeping cannabis illegal, when the deadliest drugs known to man are nicotine and alcohol, and they're legal.

The problem with edibles is that they are slow to digest and the dosage is easy to overdo it. Jesus Malverde Jan 2016 #10
