Any Consumer Within 60 Miles of the Border will be Better Served by Oregon than Washington Market. [View all]
That's the bolded inset of a story called "Border Wars" in NW Leaf.
From the story:
-The newest billboard greeting I-5 drivers entering Oregon this month offers $79 ounces at Portland's Left Coast Connection.
-Today anyone over 21 can enter a medical dispensary anywhere in Oregon and purchase up to seven grams of laboratory tested flower and four clones. With no limit on visits to multiple locations adults from anywhere in the world can purchase up to eight ounces, seven grams at a time.
aaahhhhh.
< Sorry, that's not in the story...
The story also says it is half the price of WA, tax-free until Jan 1 and then will be taxes, still a 20% tax break over WA, OR cannabis tested at stricter levels (Whatever that is- sic). It says this will kill any retailer in Vancouver, and as time goes on will severely impact WA state sales further from the border because of that state's program..
Which was designed by cartoon characters. <-that wasn't in the story either.
