7. Flushing toilets are a good thing

but how many of us actually count them as part of our material possessions?
They have become standard equipment in American homes. It was progress to install them in homes. Electricity the same. Perhaps even the first radios and televisions. But second and third televisions do not improve our lives.
At least not in my opinion.
