this is how they do it in the Lame Duck Congress, they allow the losers to use their remaining power to screw the voters, then they get their rewards in the Corporate World. The others will be allowed to vote for something 'populous' over the next couple of years, while the task of voting for unpopular legislation will be given to a few others.

It's quite a game they play. At the expense of the people. Time to thoroughly expose it.
