Anyone with GERD? (Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease)? [View all]

I recently had a massive heartburn attack that my doctors are saying was that. I'd had a little problem with acid reflux before, but nothing like this. I've reformed my eating habits and made lifestyle changes, but I'm wondering does this ever go away? And can you ever eat pizza or cheese, two foods you're not supposed to eat) in small amounts?
