3. I feel the "art" of the Catholic mass, along with a cultural component inherent in Catholicism

(as with any organized religion I guess), was long a tie to my participation in the church. I was always drawn to the ritual, the symbolism, the show and the attention.... As the author notes, art structures attention. Many times I've been in an art museum and seen visitors sitting before a piece of work, focused and attentive. I've seen the same thing in church.
