There is one scene that's rather hard to watch, where they're burning the beaks of the chicks and sending them down some well-polished chute, never to be seen again. I don't know what the purpose of the burning part is, and have wondered why it was in the film at all.

Still haven't seen Naqoyqatsi yet, but some years ago when I finally got the DVD of Powaqqatsi, I found it far more moving to me now in my life than it was when I saw it in the theater.
