Since 1970 more than 900,000 people have been killed with guns in the United States. That is the equivalent of a fully loaded 747 jumbo jet falling from the sky once a week every week 52 weeks a year. In that same time frame more toddlers under the age of 5 were shot than police on active duty.

I just throw those numbers on the table and let whoever I'm talking to think about them.
