CptPA: a new report from {BATFE} that reveals in 2012 Pennsylvania had the highest number of lost or stolen guns from federally licensed gun dealers of any state in the nation and that it had the seventh highest number of total lost or stolen guns among the states. Then, I discuss legislative proposals in the PA House that would ameliorate this and other gun problems in the state.
Haha, legislative proposals in the rightwing republican controlled Pennsy house (& senate, & gov makes 3) won't ameliorate lost guns or any other gun problems in pennsy; any republican gun legislation would likely deteriorate the gun problem. (I live NE pennsy).
.. to wit other readers, CPt you know already, pennsy state legs turned red as a beet after 2010 midterms, & gerrymandered pennsylvania to immunize itself from democrat vaccines. Political pendulum appears shifting to left tho.
In other news, that very same red republican pennsy state legislature will today (july 15,2013) begin to discuss voting ID laws for pennsy. Anyone in doubt what the result will be? I think an appeal to pennsy's supreme court the last chance, but I can't remember the court's composition politically, tho I researched it last year on local wnep-talkradio msg bds, about the very issue.
On photo ID laws I believe any violations could be disciplined after the fact (post election), & so as a dem think they are unnecessary. They only need be investigated pre-final results - an election put on hold due the uncertainty of some votes - if the race is extremely close, which happens extremely rarely, outside of lesser town races etc..
I'll try to visit your sites, CP, but my home puter uses dialup modem & generally can't bring up vids, must rely on weekly library visits with their cable hookups.
PS: the reason pennsy had the most stolen/lost guns not that surprising is it? pennsy has more guns than most all states, & is nra's prize territory, more nra members, oh my what am I doing here?
