that kinda open civil war -- should it come to that -- between the business and religious factions in the repub party, is long overdue, even if it is confined to the parties under discussion here. It will be interesting to see how much their bottom line is negatively impacted, and whether or not it will be sufficient to add to the fracturing of the repub party. As I understand it, it only applies to corps that are largely privately owned and not publicly traded, and I've yet to look to see how much of a proportion of all corps that comprises.

For the repub party celebrating this victory, they need to be reminded by all adversely effected -- as well as affected -- that they wouldn't be the first to win a battle but lose the war. Given the likely response from women of all ideological stripes, this could well be the proverbial last straw, and they are in no position to be denying ownership of it.

In response to your question about your being crazy or not, I'd say as long as you are as crazy as you wanna be, as opposed to as crazy as you can be, you'll be alright...lol There's certainly absolutely nothing crazy about allying with Pharma over this -- every straw helps break the backs we'd like to see broken. One could also speculate about how they'd feel about single-payer as well, given the additional revenue that would result in -- assuming the gov stayed outta the drug pricing game, or at least stayed within acceptable limits to them.
