Big Pharma Vs Hobby Lobby [View all]
Thanks to stupidicus - that poster sparked this idea -

Maybe it's NOT Hobby Lobby we need to reach out to. Maybe it's the makers of Ella, RU, and IUDs we need to reach out to. I'm also aware that it might actually apply to ALL 20 types of BC in the Hobby Lobby case . . .
I've been in an Import/Export/Homeland Security/Secretary of State / Treasury and Federal Law Enforcement role for three years. Prior to that I had successive roles in Marketing in telecom. Last 8 1/2 years at a major big wireless carrier ( yeah I'm an NSA lady - I post among you
).
There is some product manager somewhere at a Big Pharma shaking in their shoes right now.
Especially if they have life cycle management - they are worrying about how to make their numbers. They are going to have to go into an ops or business controls review sometime in the next few quarters and explain why their product is failing.
Unfortunately in this environment they won't be able to offer a white glove service or tipping point proposition to the consumer/end user.
We are so focused on our loss - we can't see THEIR loss.
As stupidicus wrote - Strange bedfellows.
Maybe we need a laser focus on a line of business that has the money to smash Hobby Lobby's "win" to pieces?
I'm in NJ - 7th - everyday I drive up and down 202 past the big Pharma companies. They (Hobby Lobby and the Scrotum Five) are hurting my neighbors bottom line with this. Our Congress Jerk - Leonard Lance was real quick to point out how this was a real win for Religious Freedom on his FB Page last night.
Our D Candidate - she is heart broken. She also has quite a few Pharma employees in her backyard.
Before I take this to her - do you think I'm off base? What would be the risks?
I just think we are skinning this cat wrong.
