disappeared now that people actually need them. I am familiar with Massapequa on the South Shore of LI mentioned in the stories at the link. It's a shame that the people there had so little protection when they were so vulnerable to looters etc after the storm. If they can put together virtual armies of robo cops to shut down protests,, why is it so hard to get them out to do what they actually are paid to do?

This is heart-breaking. I hope now that the election is over, they will not be forgotten as things appear to only be getting worse for them.

Again, gratitude to the volunteers for all they are trying to do.
