The Occupy movement in Los Angeles looks much different a year later. While the movement fractured, a smaller, but loyal group continues to fight big banks and is seeing some success in standing up for troubled homeowners.

October 29:

(Note that at least six instances of fraud have been discovered in the banks paperwork and made public, yet the bank continues to call LAPD and various aspects of the city works against Fort Hernandez so they can evict the family. The sheriffs are usually the ones at the beck and call of the banks, but Band of America are using the police. In this instance, at least a dozen riot cops and some department of works to demolish the barricade which is clearly on the Hernandez property. The tweets said LAPD warned neighbors to not leave their homes [to support the Hernandez family, obviously]. Riot cops and nuisance intrusions. Who do they protect? Who do they serve?)
