'Traitor' appears to be the best word to apply to any elected official or public employee such as the police, who would deliberately lie like that, and worse, brutally crack down on a movement that was contributing to public safety so effectively. What is going on in this country? It seems they are 'protecting crime'.. All the reports we hear about crime in DC in Chicago, the huge murder rates, are they just LETTING IT HAPPEN? Why were they not thrilled to see such a big drop in crime? Who ARE these people?

This particular case and the reports of the NYPD scandals where the cops were lying about crime figures to make it look like crime was down, must raise the obvious questions about the motives of these people and until someone proves otherwise, it has to be concluded that THEY are a threat to public safety and yes, you are correct, they should in jail.

I was going to say that this one case in Oakland should spark hearings and investigations, but what entity can be trusted anymore to conduct any investigation that would not be skewed in favor of the traitors? Congress? City Councils? I can't think of one that is working on behalf of the American people.
