1. I remember calling the Portland Police to object to the way they were handling

the protests and asked if they were trying to emulate the shameful behavior of the Oakland police. The person I spoke to, who was a PO, assured me they would not be doing that, he was aware of Oakland and agreed. But he did say he was not in a position to control any of what went on and I should call the Police Chief. I tried but failed to get him on the phone.

Good for her. It seems there will be no justice for the behavior of the police during the OWS protests, except maybe in the Civil Courts.
