Cops not showing up when cases go to trial means they cannot defend their arrests.

No wonder they keep losing.

The tactic of having as many people as possible film arrests, is now proving to be very important in winning these cases.

The question is, since it is becoming more clear as more cases are won, that cops are making false arrests and then committing perjury sometimes, or not showing up rather than lie in the face of so much evidence, how often do they lie on the stand and get people who are not prepared, as Occupiers are, jailed?

Seems to me with all the cases now demonstrating what people often claimed but could not prove in the past, something needs to be done to protect citizens from this kind of thing.

The organizers of OWS were very wise in the planning stages. And this phase of the movement will hopefully lead to more exposure of these egregious practices by some police officers and make it easier for good cops to do their jobs also.
