ALWAYS TAKE THE FIFTH AND ASK FOR A LAWYER!!!

I know, it's a long video, but it's a good one. It explains far better than I can why you should never talk to the cops. If they take you downtown and interrogate you, your answer is "I wish to remain silent."

Even if you're innocent and your instincts say talk to Officer Friendly and straighten out the misunderstanding, DON'T! He's listening very carefully for ways to fuck you.
