6. I wish I could remember which talk show I saw this on...

It was some time just before or after he retired: Barney Frank on a late night talk show explaining why Congresspeople take bribes (my word). After being asked about that problem, he turned to look straight into the camera and said something along the lines of "well, didn't your mother teach you to be nice to people who are nice to you?" He then repeated that exact same thing two more times. At the time I told a friend about it and the friend insisted he must have been being facetious. It was so clear, as I watched and listened, that he was not being facetious in the least (he was addressing all the people out there in "TV land" as if they were two year olds). I just spent a good chunk of time trawling youtube, trying to find a clip of that, to no avail. So many (corrupt) goons in that government of "ours".
