This is very cool. Makes me think of some of the information in James Nestor’s book Breath, about how our ancestors had facial structures that were much more efficient for chewing and breathing, as opposed to our more narrow, cramped faces that have evolved over centuries of eating softer foods and breathing through our mouths.
