1. It's a horrible thing to say,

but I think people have a need to kill. We have this animal nature inside of us that is practically irresistible, I think, and we have to give ourselves over to it sometimes. A person might say, "Well I've never killed anyone and I hate violence," but has he ever supported a war? Even when his country, gang, or whatever wasn't attacked. The supporters of wars are just as guilty as the people who fight them. I hope that one day we can get this urge out of our DNA, but until then, we are going to have to learn to control it or at least redirect it. If the human race is ever going to come together and accomplish greater things, we're going to have to tame the beast.
