18. They tell me that what happened with me was one in one thousand.

Most people recover by the next day, in fact, the doctor had told me that would be driving the next day after surgery! Now THAT was some wishful thinking!

Oh well, it looks like I missed some work, but I did find that I can play guitar with my eyes shut and tears streaming down my face! This knowledge should come in handy if I ever need to play a gig in smoke!
