which was focused what I really want to do, and what I really can't stand to do. The message I got (actually the day before the angels scheduled arrival) was that this was a temporary assignment to plug a hole for them. I had been feeling a trifle jealous of the universally loved and petted on young student (even Kathryn the horrible likes her!!!!) doing her clinicals. Once I understood my role, my envy ended. I just ceased to care, even though at the time no exit routes had surfaced!
