5. I saw that prediction somewhere,

and since I don't ever listen to C2C, it would not have been there. Wherever I saw it posted, the person posting took it quite seriously. I thought it was a bit laughable, in that our system really doesn't work that way. Also "A major change in the U.S. government this year" is the kind of sweeping, scary prediction that is so often made by supposed psychics. Notice how vague it is. Vague enough that the change from Boehner to McCarthy could be claimed to fit that prediction, although I personally wouldn't see it that way.

I tried doing a google search for the prediction about mass resignations from Congress, but couldn't come up with anything.
