and multiple reps and at least one poll have stated that citizens are against military action by 100:1.

I can't tell whether Obama wants this or not. He is planning 6 interviews on Monday to "take it to the people." He has asked the Pentagon for increased scope options, eg, the # of missile strikes on the table has doubled to 200 and been combined with bombing runs based out of the US.

And Kerry is shockingly gung-ho, trying to push every possible emotional button.

The 2 of them have told straight out lies pushing the attack, so its hard to believe he doesn't want it.

I think he sent it to Congress only after the UK unexpectedly back out, and under threat of impeachment by the GOP if he doesn't. But he does seem to be trying to sell it.

So I'm not convinced he doesn't want to attack. Saudi Arabia has offered to pay for it (they'll make a fortune off the increase in oil prices). AIPAC is pushing hard for it, and they pretty much run our country . And it is an integral part of the PNAC plan to. AIPAC and PNAC want to draw Iran into war, and Syria is the path to that war.

Blue, I don't care whether the GOP refused to come back to vote because they're lazy or obstructionist. Anything that will stop this madness is desperately needed, imo.
