In reply to the discussion: Another scandal? Surely not.... [View all]Tsiyu
(18,186 posts)133. He has that much vast wealth ( warning, long winded musing )
and loves this country SOOOOO much, he pays 14% of his take to help us out.
He has the gall to call anyone a "moocher."
And the sad thing is, he needs more, more, more.
The wonderful thing is, some disinterested Americans are waking up because of Rmoney's wooden, narcissistic portrayal of a human. Those of us who pay attention to politics have identified the sociopaths for years. And we've watched as they've taken over the debate, the media, the process.
But the apathetic insisted we were just idealistic hippies or communists or malcontents. As we watched more and more sociopathic "leaders" seize power. They kept telling us we were crazy, when we were saying, "No! The Republicans are crazy!"
And you'd have to be a crazy man to want to hurt women the way Akin and others want to do. What man who loves his sister or his wife or his daughter wants to hurt women for his own gain? Only a sociopathic one! What man who wants to lead this country would insult half the country when he himself put many of them into the very conditions - unemployed, living on government assistance - that he insults? A sociopath!
Who yells at chairs? Who LYNCHES chairs ( see juanitajean.com ) ? Who thinks CEOs and politicians should have the BEST health care, pensions, pay, bonus and vacation packages, while believing at the same time that the hard workers of America should be paid a pittance for their work and have NO healthcare, NO vacation, NO sick time, NO living wage, and NO help from the government? When that same government is bending over backwards to subsidize and HELP the Home Depots, the Exxons, The General Electrics, and the guys like Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan?
It's like they are the snake eating its tail at this point. And as they spin, that lightbulb is clicking on in many people watching the spin.
It's a wonderful thing, and a scandal to be sure as to the OP; the wonder in watching realization dawn on those we love and the scandal in its taking so damn long.

There's a GD thread on the 'poison pill' in a file that would be released if he were jailed.

Unwise, considering the 'poison pill' was to be released upon his death or arrest by associates.

I'd rather have him alive and free, than any money that bet would bring.

So true. That's why I keep telling people it's not really about politics at all...

I agree, and that "14%" was manipulated, and as of yet we haven't seen full disclosure.
