I've had the great honor of meeting some of the White Plume family and they have my undying respect.
This is an excellent article by Debra White Plume, a strong activist and voice of the Oglala Lakota

Latest I've heard is that the auction was cancelled yesterday, I pray this is good news for the Lakota!

I look forward to the day that the USA honors the Fort Laramie Treaty, finally.
