1. This is cool, even if they just say the spear marked her social position

I'd like to think that she would have been shown how to use it, and hopefully from an early age.

I personally think there have been more 'Shield Maidens' in far back history than are spoken/written of.


It has always been my desire that if I had been blessed with a daughter, I would make sure she learned the warrior skills early on. (She would always be able to play princess as much as she wanted, I would just hope that she would defend the dragon from the mean knights)

She could be like her daddy (as long as she didn't have my migraines)
