2. When I worked in insurance many years ago, I overheard a co-worker use the phrase "act of nature"

in place of "act of God". The workplace setting was in a very liberal college town in central WI. Her hometown was Madison, even more liberal. After a while, nobody was being blessed after a sneeze (which has always confused me as to why they were in the first place).

Maybe the old fossil is catching up with normal people. Or someone has him on his meds.
