3. Interesting how the author doesn't differentiate between faith and people

If someone mocks faith and someone takes that personally, they should probably be asking themselves how sure they were about it to begin with. If someone were to mock me for the “belief” that 2+2=4, I would simply think it rather funny and there’s no way I would take something like that personally.

When a Christian feels the need to whine about “sacrilege” and accuse people of working for the devil because they dare to disagree, there’s something very wrong about their own behavior.
