whatever it wishes to ignore. The bishops and the Pope will nod their heads in agreement, but then will continue doing what they have always done. The Pope will utter some words of regret, and then will retreat to his rooms, unchanged in his mind.

How do I know this? Because it has been repeated time and time again throughout history.
